Beaches of Nantucket, Massachusetts, United States

Nantucket is a small island located off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, United States. This is a popular summer destination with a wide variety of sandy beaches. 

In the north of the island, there are beaches with gentle waves, which are suitable even for children. Some beaches are equipped with playgrounds for children, there are showers, public toilets, parking, and lifeguards on duty (during the summer). There are also food outlets, including take-out food service.

The beaches on the southern coast of the island, with the lower temperatures of the Atlantic waters, are more suitable for surfing. There is plenty of space for beach games and picnics. This part of the island is popular with young people.

Windsurfing, kayaking, and sailing are popular at the eastern beaches (equipment must be taken with you). It is better to get there by four-wheel-drive car.

All the beach services of the island are only available in summer.
